Well spank me rosy. Just when you think you've seen it all, Charlton Athletic prove you wrong. 2-4 down after 96 minutes, and they pull out a 4-4 draw

Two goals down twice, level again twice, I think we gave them a game! Well done to the ref, not allowing stoppage time to be lost to goal celebrations. 6 minutes allocated, 10 minutes played in the end Never has a draw felt more like a win to me, apart from that time we equalised at the Valley with 9 men on the pitch. Must be over ten years ago now. Swindon I think it was. Miguel Llera?
What a game. Garners red card + Chuks and CBT coming on changed the mood and we started to fight for everything. Particularly pleased for Albie, with a goal and two assists.
That was amazing. Two great crosses from Albie to set up the extratime comeback. literally boincing round the room despite ples from my kids to stop,, Absolutely wonderful feeling, an equaliser in the 99th minute after being 4-2 down in the 95th. CBT looked immense again as dis Chucks - lucky the whistle went as I think we had nothing left in the tank.
I was watching your scores today for obvious reasons. At 2 - 0 down I was thinking how the hell did this lot put 5 past us. Then it was 2 - 2 and I thought ok maybe they weren't lucky then. At 4 - 2 down I thought nah they are crap really and we just blew it. When it came up 4 - 3 I thought cheers Charlton too bleddy late. Then the chap on the beeb said "This is why we love football" and it was 4 - 4. So appologies for doubting you and cursing you often today. You did us a bit of a favour there. All we have to do is cock up against opur nearest rivals geographically on Monday but we will still be top.
I'm more interested in the fact that we have conceded 6 goals in two home games and only got one point. Let's not get carried away here
Nobody is happy about the poor show against MK Dons, and I don't believe anyone is happy either with 1 point from two home games. It's just instinctive to be happy about a point (and some pride) saved when all seemed lost. I wonder what the odds were on a draw when Charlton went 2-4 down. 100/1? Probably higher. For Charlton this kind of comeback happens two or three times a decade I would guess.
I've been quite carried away by the euphoria of what happened in stoppage time. If it was possible for Chuks and CBT to play 90 minutes I'd be even more carried away, because that was the difference, that and Albie moving int the middle. I said at the beginning of the season, and I'll say it again now- Dobbo should be skipper. Why does the skipper always have to be big- Kinsella wasn't very big.
