Yes. Understanding seems beyond them. They'll never have it now, even if sheik psycho scarpered tomorrow. The idea of a club, in the football sense, is largely that it represents the people of the region or those who feel an affiliation to it, whichever individual owns it, That's why clubs in football don't move around the place. Being kidnapped in perpetuity, and used by a murderous psycho in the name of a barbaric state who actually loathes the erstwhile fans means there us no club left there. The slavering welcome given to Bin Salman actually means you club has gone forever. The players, manager, coaches all play for the glory of Saudi Arabia. I'd rather
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63440506 It's a shame it's such a small proportion of them but it's nice to see they haven't all lost their minds along with their morals.
It'll be interesting to see how it goes down. "Newcastle declined to comment on the protest." Of course they did. The club has been tying itself in knots since the takeover and it's not going to end anytime soon.
That was my thoughts they could be putting themselves in the firing line for more than a few arseholes. Plenty welcomed them with open arms from day one even wearing tea towels and buying Saudi flags! Then those who were in the fence will no linger be on the fence having not lost at home this season and getting some high scoring results this season and top of the form table.
I wonder how many protesters would be there if the Saudis from the get go said they wouldn't spend a penny more than ashley would continue to have spent?
It won't end mate. The Saudi state owns and runs one of our football clubs purely for political reasons. I no longer see them as a local team tbh, they're just a sad satellite of the Saudi state ... ... I always enjoyed the rivalry, derby matches, etc, but that's gone now. My Mag relatives, in Chopwell, are very decent church people who've put me up when we've been up for matches. We've always had some pretty good banter but football is never mentioned these days. It's pointless, NUFC no longer represents the area or the people and the history is now irrelevant. The Mags really think they 'have their club back' ... ... in reality they've lost it and, in their hearts, they know it.
When the NUFC LGBT supporters group welcomed the new owners? Imagine showing continued support towards people who wish you dead. If modern football can collectively **** the brain of a bunch of people like that? Sad case of affairs.
They have better roads (BTW isn't he actually in Durham not Newcastle.) Seriously man, he's sitting in his mam's back bedroom researching Sunderland players ... .... do you think he was thrown out of clown college A bit of research would show that Gooch played in the 'six in a row', and is a full international who's done something no Newcastle player has managed in over sixty years ... ... scored the winning goal in a Wembley Cup Final and lifted the trophy
I was trying to think of the best words to describe him, only thing that came to mind was, sad c unt probably took some time off his mam’s titty to write that.
There's no club with a bigger litany of stupidity ... ... no one else comes close. They'll always claim it's just a handful of idiots, that all clubs have, but they must be the hardest working people in the country if that's true. If you're in any doubt just Google 'stupid ******* supporters images' and put in Newcastle or any other club. It's staggering My favourite at the top of the post. The poor kid knows the camera is on him and you can almost see his heart breaking when he realises he'll have to walk into school knowing everyone will think his dad's a knacker.
