Not for me, Tony Norman is my choice I only ever saw him make two mistakes, and one of those wasn't football related! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Great character too. He perfected the following through when kicking the ball out, to make sure any opposing player who had the audacity to be within range was on the end of his boot! I watched him do it for Rangers recently and had a little chuckle to myself.
One of my favourite City players when he was here, always felt confident he’d save a pen if we gave one away. Had the odd mistake in him but other than that was a brilliant keeper and character as well. Still doing well for rangers now even at the end of his career
Very very good keeper, if Southall was from a different era Norman would have had far more international caps. I doubt we'll see a player, in any position beat his 226 consecutive appearances. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine
Curiosity got the better of me. For City in premier league, he actually had a 100% record, saving 3/3 For City overall, he saved 5/11, so 45% Whole career, saved 19 in 61, so 31%
Yeah, he was able to look confident that he would save it, which would obviously transmit to the taker. He had a real slump in form for half a season on return from a really bad injury, which a lot judge him by.
