And Blackpool. Tuesday is huge now. Must not lose although on current home form you'd be a fool to bet against another dismal defeat
Completely forgot about wigan. Easily done I suppose as was very much an anomoly and I didn't make it to that one! I know what to do Tuesday I suppose
So a frustrating result however if you're a blackburn fan You go home thinking that was a tremendous away performance They changed to 4 at a back with deep midfield to nullify our play from the last 2 games They don't concede too much At most of the 2nd half they had every man behind the ball Huge rovers wall We have to say they look like a quality championship side They wont finish out of the top 5 Theres positives, you cant say any of our players lacked effort or enthusiasm Sometimes you lose games, but this performance a lot more encouraging than a few weeks ago We do lack some pace that allahyar and tetteh offer But lets keep the faith
We played ok, Blackburn looked good. Don't know if it was just my stream but the atmosphere felt a bit flat. A little disappointed with our lack of composure in the last 5-10 minutes, stopped us building any sort of momentum.
We certainly gave it a go, but without really creating anything, they defended well and took their goal well. Not far off but just not good enough on the day.
Dawson’s inexperience showed here. Naive not to make changes against the form team, strange subs and no plan B.
I would honestly say we played more than ok, under Shota we were awful most of the time we have just played way better against a promotion challenging team so carry on in that style and add a few goals and we will be fine.
Disappointing, but once again our failure to create chances cost us a point. Blackburn well organised and shut us out but they are not premier league quality. I thought we did OK but high pressing game didn't quite work today.
100%. Two really good sides today, we were unfortunately not to get something from it. Christie is proving an excellent signing.
I thought that too. I thought we really missed Seri when he went off. But we're definitely getting there and it was a solid performance. Seen a few people being critical but we've still got plenty of key injuries. You take away Brereton and Gallagher out of their side and see where they are
Do we know if Seri was injured or just tactical. Wonder if he started to feel that two footed studs up challenge on him that the ref somehow missed.
It’s a defeat, average performance, looked more like an end of season game where we had nothing to play for. Maybe should have stuck Oscar on at halftime, but overall it wasn’t anything more than a performance where we turned up, Blackburn weren’t world beaters but could have had 2 or 3 by the end. I still can’t believe we’re messing about in our own box, needs cutting out, we look like conceding every time, it’s an invitation for the opposition.
I didn’t think we played badly. Question for anyone who watched on iPlayer, were the officials as bad as it seemed in the ground? Ref didn’t have a grip of the game from where I was sitting.
I don't think he was very good and Blackburn got most of the marginal calls. He booked Woods when their guy had just taken Seri out with a dodgy challenge which most refs would have carded. Not the reason we lost but indicative of the quality of a lot of the officials we seem to get in this division. .
