It has been a feature of our play most of the season, it has been an obvious tactic of Ralphs to play longer, quicker.

We look utterly lost going forward, and that is down to one person.

How have we spent 60m to end up with a worse team than last year?!!

To a large extent we've got away with that. Because to only be 1-0 down at HT means that we're still in this.

How many times have we seen it the other way round, where our opponents have been awful but we've failed to kill the game off, only for them to turn it around and get a draw or win against us.

Im amazed we didnt play AMN at RB.

We played largely back 5 v Arsenal, and it did work, but in the main this season when we’ve tried it it has been gash.

 

What a ****ing ****show. If Ralph doesn't take Lyanco off at HT then he's lost the plot.

 

You're clearly watching different matches than I am, friend. The fact that our build-up has been incredibly ponderous (except against top teams where we're looking for any out ball) has been a consistent concern for me.

 

They do go down rather easily this lot. Particularly Olise.

Ralph got to make some tweaks here, surely?

 

Hopefully we've saved our traditional 45 minutes of competent football for the second half then.

It does a little bit. It’s more that they won’t need to score more than that 1 that’s the main concern.

 

Wasn’t there a big thing a little while ago about him not wanting to ply at full back? Wonder if we’ve told him he won’t play there as part of the deal to get him in

We have been ponderous, whilst also playing longer when we get possession in defence. I wasnt saying it was the only way we have played.

Generally, we have played quick long balls out of defence, and when we dont, we fanny about being ponderous. That is pretty much our season in a nutshell.

 

**** in possession, **** out of possession. No midfield. No attacking threat. Defence wide open. This formation and player combo is not working on any level and that was blatantly obvious after about 10 mins, the only positive is it's only 1-0. But we really have been shocking against an average team. Worst thing is it's not a surprise.
