Definitely a bit surprised not to see AMN in the lineup. Palace's strength is their pace in wide areas...that's a tricky lineup to have opposing them.
Wonder how many extra weeks out beyond the suggested 6 is will end up being for Lavia? Significantly more in the end it seems
I think it is a good call to drop Arma, he has been poor recently. I was fully expecting AMN to come back in to a back 4 but Ralph clearly liked what he saw against Arsenal with Laynco.
I assume we just start straight off with the back three? Seems risky to do the Lyanco right back thing again
If Ralph can get us playing with a back 3 of ABK, Caleta-Sar, Salisu and Lavia in front... that's going to be difficult for any team to break through. Big IF
Didnt we try this system at the start of the season? And still conceded loads and just made us even worse going forward?
Not with those three defenders. We tried it with Valery and bednarek. Not exactly the same Not what I want to see though
For my fellow gamblers, Lyanco is 40/1 to get sent off today. Now that is worth a quid of anyones money!
Judging from Ralph's pre-game comments it will be Lyanco at RB. When asked if he will deploy the same back 5 that worked against Arsenal he replied that they have had longer to work on 4 at the back this week so "we will see".
Don’t think we did, but it was a big night! Loved Ghent. Think there was a bank holiday street party thing going on, and the locals were great.
