Why is this on the Newcastle board? I couldn't care less about City or Utd. Good luck to them both but all I care about is how we get on, starting with Everton tomorrow.
I can see us grabbing a point against Chelsea, maybe, but I don't hold out much hope for the other two games.
****ing hell this thread is tragic. From MrTiotes unnecessary whining to someone saying we are poor just because we wont finish top 6.
"I wouldnt go to salford it is a complete ****hole mate, its the north wests newcastle" Whooooooaaaaah....slow down nobhead. Clearly not from Manchester or you'd know that Salford is on the up. Media City and all the apartment blocks in Salford Quays knock the socks off the rest of Manchester. If you're talking quality of living I'd suggest you tell me where's better. Agree with the fact that Newcastle will more than likely fall off the pace, but that's inevitable considering the depth of their squad and the winter hasn't set in yet. City on the other hand probably won't for the exact same reason, so we need to crank up our performances and get back into the sort of form we were showing in our first few games. Edit: Old Trafford is also in Salford....well done idiot.
I think this is going to be one of the most difficult challenges for SAF during his tenure to reel in Man City and keep Man Utd above them considering that this current Man City squad has more depth and quality overall than Chelsea when they first emerged as contenders. One thing for sure is that if anyone can do this; it's SAF. As for the OP and the other chap belittling Newcastle. We'll see at the end of the season. A top 10 position was the aim and anything above that is obviously a bonus. We've rebuilt the squad and the ethos of the club; from recruitment policy to playing style since relegation and so far the results are promising.
I think Newcastle probably will finish top 8 this season. Fair play to Pardew if he does achieve it aswell as most football fans were laughing when Mike Ashley appointed him. In regards to United catching City - United are currently going through a rebuidling phase, Fergie has probably built 5 or 6 different teams in his time at United, whislt City are in the best form ever. I think we are still capable of beating City this year and I hope we do. If we don't this year than I expect SAF will come back even stronger next year
Yeah. Damn the likes of Phil Jones, Ashley Young, De Gea, Chris Smalling, and Javier Hernández. They've been at Utd for years and years and years. You just don't get old faces at Chelsea. The likes of Terry, Lampard, Essien, Cech, Drogba, Cole, Mikel, Malouda, and Ferreira; well they signed recently, right? Fresh Chelsea signing, right?
ffs why is this even on nufc board none of us really care about City? the person that applied this miserable my cocks bigger than your thread on here deserves a good old fashioned kicking.
if you really dont like this thread, you know where to go... Lots of other magpies like it. we both apologised to each other but now u r back! its been 24 hours now give it up! increasing my threads popularity!
