Gulacsi worries me, esp against a not so continental style of football tha WHU tend to employ. Fear we could lose this one 2-0
Gulacsi was clearly in such high regard at Liverpool for a reason, he played well during pre-season not so much during the opening games.. you cannot base a result on which goalkeeper you have in goal, if the defence are solid he won't be doing much anyway. Get behind all the players no matter how **** they are (Apart from Harper) Hull 1-1 West Ham
Hull City A.F.C. Team News In A Nutshell: Basso - Still a doubt, decision to be made tomorrow as to whether he plays. Mclean - Less of a doubt but depends if he comes through training on Friday. Barmby, Waghorn & Pusic are all still out. Stewart - If things continue to go to plan, he's been pencilled in for a return against Derby on 19th November.
Really? Because 2009 was the only time we've beaten them at home, in 55 years. So they must have been all draws, or one of us is getting confused **** sake, Waggy's injury is doing my head in now. Every game he's expected to be back until the last minute then they say it's next week. 2 weeks ago NP confirmed he was back for the Watford game, how can that be 3 weeks out? Good post. Everyone will have changed their mind on Gulacsi by tomorrow night. Also is Sam Baldock fit? HDM don't have him in their preview at all, but also don't mention him being unavailable.
From West Ham Website: West Ham United have not won on any of their previous six visits to Hull City dating back to a 1-0 Division Two victory at Boothferry Park on 13 September 1954. John Bond scored the Hammers' goal that afternoon. West Ham United and Hull City have both conceded 13 league goals in so far this term, giving them the joint third-best defensive records in the npower Championship behind Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace, who have both conceded 12 times. Hull, however, have played 14 league matches to West Ham's 15. • Jack Collison could be back in contention after being rested for Tuesday's goalless draw with Bristol City. • Winston Reid will be out of action for at least a month after dislocating his shoulder during Tuesday's match. Abdoulaye Faye is set to replace the New Zealand international. • John Carew is struggling to be fit for the trip to the KC Stadium after suffering a knee injury at the training ground last Sunday. • Guy Demel is still being treated for a hamstring injury that has delayed his debut. • Matt Taylor (calf) is hoping to be back after the international break. Henri Lansbury is definitely out for several weeks with a knee injury, while Gary O'Neil (ankle) is out with long-term ankle injury.
i noticed on a leicester thread, they where saying things such as , surprise, surprise i notice waggy is absent with another mystery problem...was probably them just them being irritating, but hope there isnt a persistent sort of occurence.
The 1989/90 season clash at Fer Ark is now featured on tigersplayer and it was my FIRST City game.. dad took me, it finished 1-1 and Peter Swan scored the equaliser..
Indeed, but I thought having not lost to them at home for 55 years was fairly good going. 56 years would be even better.
It was actually 53 years since we beat them in the league until 2008, and beat them at home in the cup 38 years ago as Strovos little table says.
OH DEAR. BIG SAM not playing hammers football anymore then ? dont care about the game just the result. a very scrappy 1-0 win for hull city will do me.
It would seem that the Hammers have sold about 2/3's of the allocation(2500), makes you wonder why the hell we gave them the entire north stand.
