I wouldn't read too much into it. We don't know the full terms of the loan except that it was a season long deal with an option to buy. There may be a clause that the loan can't be shortened. If anything, the fact that he got injured straight away will show that he maybe can't be relied on, so we actually do need a January addition.

It should be, if they're damaged within 90 days should be able to return them for a full refund and get to pick a new player off the shelf.
Far too simplistic. Transfer fees aren't pay in one lump sum for example. Wheres the stadium costs? Do wages include bonuses and loyalty payments?

Lfc = self sustaining business, one paying for a big stand and paying back owners for prior stand. Ergo don't have the cash flow and are not allow run up debt to spend 200mil on players.

You need to keep refreshing a squad if you are to keep challenging. There's no doubt that we have an extremely talented squad but it needs new faces to relieve the burden on those who have worked their socks off over the past few seasons. We've got a small section of players who are stealing their wages atm. If we don't dip into the market in January, we'll need a sea change in the summer.
