Derry had that problem at the end of the Chelsea game,so why did he start against Spurs? Hill in for Traore,is Neil giving an excuse for maybe dropping Adel, there seems to be an endless bout of flu and tummy bugs at our club this year!

I don't feel that confident about tomorrow's game to be honest. We will drop points, and I just can not see us going through the league season unbeaten, irrespective of how good we've been up to now. I just can't help but feel that our first defeat is just round the corner. No reason why it can't be against QPR - after all, you did beat Chelsea in your last home game, and that will have no doubt done wonders for your confidence.

Red cards for Aguero and Ballotelli would do more,as would Silva being injured!

Yes agree with Hoopton, 4-4-2 would set us well, we looked so much better with Ale and Barton playing in the centre of midfield in the second half. More fluid and much more creative.

You will slip up at some stage, but you have a much better team than Chelsea who lost all discipline - that was a 'special circumstances' win, first derby for 15 years etc. If you play to 70% of your potential you should have us tomorrow. But we can always dream.....

What well mannered banter!! I would like us to beat Man City as Gallagher is a City fan and a useless waste of space IM(not)HO!! Discuss.

Used to work in Manchester a few years back, very nice restaurant in Didsbury...'The Lime Tree' I think it was called. Always had a decent pint at Maine Road.

No reason we can't nick a point tomorrow. I'm feeling strangely bullish on this one but maybe that was the large Bombay Sapphire & tonic at The Stag at lunchtime?

This is a game I would have liked to go to. Good luck for all you Hoopers going tomorrow, I shall be raking the leaves in the garden and listening in on the wireless.

Derry being out doesn't necessarily mean a change of formation. NW may go 4-4-2 but he also may stick to 4-2-3-1 with Barton and Ali as the two holding midfielders. As I said before, I'd go with:
    Paddy
Young Gabby Ferdy Triore (If fit)
    Barton Ali
    SWP Bothroyd Mackie
    HH
This could easily flow into a 4-4-2 as well as a 4-5-1

careful Til I Die - there are only 3 City fans on this forum and if we give them the Chel**** treatment there won't be any banter at all.......

RTID - 50 is the new 30 so my kids tell me? I'm back in Camden to see the parents on Sunday but can't get down for Saturday.

Enjoy tomorrow lads as this is what being in the Prem is all about - taking on the probable Champions and hopefully sticking one over on 'em.

FWIW I reckon Adel should come off the bench on 70 mins and run Jocelyn Lescott ragged

Agree WBA2QP3, definite trend to live longer and, therefore, attend more QPR matches!
Am one of the lucky ones at LR tomorrow cheering for the lads.

Only 15,000 or so can say they were at Loftus Road to see us beat the Arrivistes and JT's ugly mug. I couldn't be one of them unfortunately but for those that did make it that was one to savour.

Ergo the City game. City could be on the start of a dominant period in the English game and this is a game to be at and tell the grandkids about.

I shall as normal crack open the rapidly diminishing Chateau Talbot and toast another game at the top level.
