I’m afraid Armstrong isn’t just raw. I really don’t think he will make it. No finesse at all. Really hope I’m wrong and time will tell.

I think they've looked good.
Their wing backs have completely nullified our fullbacks.
They're mid table, but look better than that. I wouldn't be surprised to see them up towards the play offs.

They have one off the best defensive records in the league and they've been anything but bang average. I've been very impressed by them

Such a frustrating display. Eustace has got the tactics absolutely spot on. A fast, physical press, doubling up on the man in possession, energy, enthusiasm and then some decent football to boot. Full credit to them. The better team won.

 

Birmingham completely stopped us playing.
We won't be the only ones they do that to.

 

The fluke goal took the pressure off as the home side and allowed them to just concentrate on stopping us playing. They scored from their only other decent effort. We never looked like creating chances. A real championship defeat

 

For me Brum weren’t that impressive first half. Looked poor on the ball but they pressed us and we didn’t respond. We were nowhere near the standards we’ve shown this season.
Second half Brum looked more organised, more confident and certainly pushed their defensive line back - with sometimes six across the back. And why wouldn’t you with a 2-0 lead.

We rarely showed our true qualities. Forwards still not doing their job. A couple of opportunities we should have definitely have scored and pulled the game back and got them nervous. We weren’t at the races today. I’m very surprised after a good week to pull everything together with MB. Disappointing result.
