Well that’s that royally ****ed, finished job in Worthing at 13-00, heading home, ready to watch game in garden bar with a beverage, now sat in Membury services awaiting AA for recovery to the works yard in Mid-Wales ,Clutch / Gearbox issues, now hoping they don’t turn up till 10 so I can watch the game on telly in back, otherwise it’s relying on a stream and the tablet whilst sat in recovery lorry
Some good pubs in Brum. The White Swan on Bradford Street an epic old style Victorian boozer, two bars, no food. Sadly closing in a fortnight but all listed so hopefully will be back intact - tiles, ancient wooden bar and nicotine stained ceiling and all. Two pints £8.60, including one of excellent Guinness.
