Interesting, I never had much luck with those types of formations, but that's probably because I play the world's most demented press-and-counter, so having three CMs keeps things a bit more stable. I'm buying FM23 almost exclusively because having 5 subs means my players won't drop dead from exhaustion in December.
Brentford are on the fence I think. They got hammered last time out and I think have a semi-favourable run of fixtures pre World Cup. A poor return in those could pull them in. They always have Toney to pull them out
I always wonder how those sorts of surnames came to pass. Some dude was really cheery at dawn, and 300 years of his descendants get to be Steve Good Morning or whatever.
I’m considering buying because I last played FM2019. So the grumbles I see about limited changes since 2021 are somewhat meaningless to me edit : created a new thread for FM23 talk
I almost never buy in consecutive years. Playing 10-15 years deep in an FM save normally burns me out on the series for a couple years, and then I go back. But having all of the wonderkids plus the five sub rule nudged me.
