On balance a draw is probably the most likely result, though it's hardly crime of the century to suggest the home side are more likely to win when two teams are fairly evenly matched. Even with a few improved results and some patches of better play, we've still been **** far more than good this season. I don't like Sutton (who does!?) but it's not exactly an outrageous prediction!

Remarkably, Lawro is actually less of a twit than Sutton. They haven't left much room to go on the twit scale employing him. Only Savage and Crooks sit higher.

You are not wrong - it isn’t an outrageous prediction. It’s just his explanation for it is baffling. One more in line with what you said would make far more sense

Can't call it tomorrow. Any of the three outcomes are very, very possible - except for a heavy away win, nothing would surprise me. But when you consider the huge number of sides currently within three points of us, a win really could make the table look so much better.

A decent run (for us) resulting in hope peeping over the parapet is the perfect situation for Saints to throw us into the slough of despond. Which is ok as I rarely leave it....as the said slough is just behind my sofa.

Am I the only poster who actually enjoys watching Garth? Let's face it virtually all these TV pundits spout nonsense but Garth takes it to another level which is so off the wall that I find it entertaining. More than that he is the spitting image,in almost every respect, of a good friend of mine who also knows little about football but in shape, baldness and mannerisms is absolutely identical (except my mate is white) so my wife and I spend several happy hours of conjecture considering that Colin had to go home early on a Friday night because he had an early start to report to the Final Score studio on Saturday etc.
Only thing we haven't worked is whether he gradually transforms his colour (gets blacker) on his journey from Devon to London or does he instantly change colour when hereaches halfway, somewhere near the pig farm near Stonehenge on the 303?

It's quite simple to rationalise the outcome, if we lose, possible (!), then we turn the big six argument on its head and blame the referee, because 'they always favour London clubs'. Makes a change from blaming Ralph anyway!!

Pompous twat. As reported after Arsenal game he implied they’d dropped points because they’d played midweek ……. presumably forgetting we had played possibly an even more important game. Of course it could have been a WUM but he comes across as condescending. Just my opinion tho.

Good points. Guess it's because he's newer, and has young, exciting attacking players in his team. A team who is seen as having more time to bring the players to fruition. Our young players are predominately in defence. It is massively interesting to see how that's all perceived.

Definitely think the time in the job is a big factor. Which is pretty stupid because whilst Ralph has been here 4 years, he has only had money spent for 4 months!

I am expecting this to be the line up too. I want more of Edozie but away from home in a tight game I think Ralph will utilise him from the bench.
