Wouldn't that involve a separate case between Augustin and whichever club loses the CAS case (if he decides to go down that route), as he is not a party to the present issue ?
It's a press conference. I dunno what you want him to do. He was asked questions and the answers he gave made sense to me. I pop on here and he's getting slated for bullshitting. I don't think he is. That doesn't mean he holds all the answers by any means but he seems to have a decent grip on what's going on. We've rarely been outplayed, the strikers are missing big chances, the defenders are making big errors which has resulted in a major confidence dip. If he doesn't find a way to sort it then he's out of a job. I'd say that's a pretty honest press conference. Maybe he should have done a bit of a dance or summat to appease people but he is contractually obliged to attend a press conference and answer questions. Thought he did ok to be honest. Wish the players would man up a bit and do their job. Defenders to defend, strikers to score etc.
Some may remember I intimated a couple of days before Bielsa got sacked that it was going to happen and the decision was made on the Friday, the day before the Spurs game and with regard to a few players dismay at the thrashings we were getting. Well the same guy as told me the squad aren't happy with training, they don't think they're anywhere fit enough, Marsch leaves too much to the other coaches and doesn't interact enough on the training ground, they don't like the tactics and system at all. One player who I won't name openly wants out January if Marsch is still here.No rumblings at all about him getting sacked though. Not a happy squad by all accounts.
Once you lose the fans AND some of the players it's curtains. He'll go after Sundays game I think and a new coach will have to deal with strikers who can't score and defenders who can't defend.
Going to have to be one who played regular under Bielsa and you’d have to hazard a guess is not getting enough 90 minutes of game time

I will agree with you up to a point Emu. We've both been critical of big mistakes by players costing us goals, really not helping the cause and on Sunday the marking for their first 2 goals was poor. But taking Sunday's game, Fulham were able to break at pace with ease, at times the amount of room they had going forward was embarrassing. The systems failings were shown up for what it is, useless. Of the summer signings, Rasmussen was the one that initially excited me most, looked the kind of player that would suit the PL perfectly and become a bit of a cult at ER but he's not suited at all to how we play, he goes back to international football to a more traditional style and plays out of his skin. We don't have the players for these tactics, who does,but Marsch doesn't know what to do about it.
My genuine guess would be Rodrigo. He sulked under Bielsa and has previous form for this type of thing at Valencia.
I know I've been supportive of Marsch over the last couple of weeks but the performances have been poor since the break we had for the Queen passing. We had glimpses of early season form against Arsenal and Palace but otherwise its clear that either teams have figured us out or the players confidence has been drained. Marsch will need miracles to keep his position and it ain't happening. My main concern at the moment is that the new manager has to deal with a split camp which is full of players that simply can't or won't carry out simple instructions from the coaching staff. They failed to do the right thing by Bielsa and now Marsch. They'll just do the same to the next guy.
You only need one or two pot stirrers in the camp to cause major unrest and plant those ear worms. I agree with you, my money is on Rodrigo, he was one of those reportedly doing the same under Bielsa. Any possible new coach would do well cashing in on him come the transfer window. Harrison gave an interview the other day, he said it’s important “we all stick together” that was a choice of words that jumps out even more now
My concern is who we get in as the new guy. No confidence in Orta whatsoever. I seriously think it's time for Radz to call back one of the alleged people interested in buying the club,he can't take uss any furthur,which is clear. You can't afford to stand still in football as others will over take you,let alone go backwards.
