****ing hell mate…..glad to hear they got to you quick enough. The stroke window is now 10 hours for Thrombosis, instead of the previous 4 hours so we’re able to get patients to the right place for the right treatment if necessary.
I’m assuming they’ve done a few ECGs to work out what’s going on ? Have they mentioned possible AF ? Or untreated high blood pressure ?
Sorry putting my medical head on.
All the best fella and keep us informed

I'm having so many things done at the moment pal I can't keep up. I have a brick like thing round my neck at tge moment with wires all connected round my chest for 24 hours. Got more heaet tests and scans tomorrow. The crazy thing is they think it might very occurred up to 2 days before the fall , they can't pinpoint exactly when it occurred. At this moment I feel absolutely drained but very grateful things aren't worse

Are they suspecting TIA’s mate, or ruling out other things ?
Sounds very “cardiac” to my obviously limited knowledge so I expect they will be going down that route…..

That sounds horrific mate, you are lucky as it could have ended so much worse. You're in the best place and hopefully make a full recovery. Stay positive and all the best...

All I know is they told me I had 4 small strokes on the right side of the brain caused by a clot that has broken off from somewhere. They did further CT scan to check for aneurysm which there thankfully isn't. Now they are concentrating on my heart, my poor brain probably couldn't comprehend wha theyver been saying beforehand yet alone now. Still have searing head pain that I've told them about. I'll let you know what else they tell me in the coming days.

I assume that will monitor your heart for however long you wear it and see if you go into any arrhythmia like AF or SVT….I could be wrong though
It can happen that your heart just does some weird things occasionally

So sorry to hear Staines. I hope everything goes well for you.

Great advice and has certainly got me motivated to get the PSA test. Thank you.
