I think its called 'getting old' clingo. I never had the slightest interest in politics when I was younger. Then I went through a period of passing curiosity. Now I'm a miserable old git I'm a bit more angry about it all. 'I don't believe it!'
back to birdwatching….. this gargantuan bird flew in from across the pond this week (apparently nesting in Poland now) Hope I’m not in trouble with the official secrets act I haven’t signed
Barking mad then??? btw there are two types of Tories, the million/billionaires and the swallow all the lies and believe them type, check your bank account to see which type you are. (no offence at all)
Me, barking mad! You even have to ask? Three Quorn pieces short of a sandwich me mate. But we've known that for a while. Didn't understand the rest. Nobody has ever accused me of being any type of Tory before. I'm going to take a bit of time to decide how I feel about it.
cling, no accusation, just an observation on the delusion of some who think the Tories have 'our' best interests at heart
Not wanting to get embroiled in a political argument here but I've been voting con in the last couple of elections as there would be carnage if the other lot got back in.... please somebody start a new/freedom party , reform might be my only hope
If the other lot got back in there would be a move to the left a bit. But it would still be way to the right of the rightest side of Germany. I got quite the shock when I came here....but it is lovely to see tax and spend working well for all.
Talking of collecting things. Have you seen how much Bazooka Bubble Gum cards go for these days? If you have got Bobby Moore you could be sitting on 3 or 4 hundred pounds!
Our daughter if fortunate enough to have access to some free grazing for her sheep. People who have 3, 4, 8 acres they dont use. As quid pro quo I do some ground maintenance for them. Topping or harrowing or rolling. Suits us as it makes it better for grazing. Yesterday was a topping day. A bit of a pain as the field is split into 4 paddocks so a bit fiddly. Gates a bit tight. Just a few inches to spare. So with travelling the lanes of Cheshire, fiddly fields and travelling back it was about 3 hours. Another couple fields to do on the weekend, but today is a fishing day. Just off to catch some trout (hopefully). Happy days.
