think it may have been as many as 8 first teamers though saw something which said the dosh they got from ManU was close the previous years revenue though have no idea if that was true .
I thought Bassey looked a good player. Big strong, read the play very well, plus he can play CB or LB.
Yeah he looked a very solid CB. Big strong player, decent on the ball. Won everything in the air. Always helpful with hindsight but bet Leicester gutted letting him go to Rangers dirt cheap. Obviously developed well at a rangers. I thought the CF looked decent as well. Again big and strong, held the ball up well and had some decent movement. Didn’t really get a chance though.
Didn't know he'd been at Leicester & Rangers. Was looking at him thinking he'd be a decent option for us if Matip leaves, especially with him being able to play LB too. Obviously, only one game though. Brobbey looks alright but not as convinced. Uses his strength and puts himself about but seemed to run into our defenders more than hold the ball up.
Yeah give it a year or two and reckon he could be a big money transfer target for someone if carries on performing like that. Seems to have all the attributes. And left footed always helps. Was at Leicester in youth teams then left on a freebie to rangers couple years ago. Had 2 years there then moved Ajax this summer for £20m.
I like Nunez. Sure, he is not the finished article yet but he has tons of potential. What he has in abundance is heart and to see him battling back to win the ball should be an inspiration to some of the other players who have been off the pace this season. A great result but still a lot to do. Must win against Leeds
He's very unpredictable and that makes him a worry for opponents. He was popping up everywhere last night. Just needs to get his eye in on goal now and convert those chances because he's getting in good positions.
Doesn't seem to favour a side either, always difficult to defend against someone that could go left or right.
these threads are getting too bloody positive. i dont like these mood swigs so having told you all to stop wobbling and suport the side and all will be well ofr the past 3 weeks bow i am going to piss all over this little party. Last 16 "likely" opponents rules: cannot play team from england. cannot play team from own group. this means in the last 16 we will likely play: Group A: not possible (our group) Group B: Brugges/porto (bruggs currently top Group C: Bayern Munich(confirmed) Group D: may not be posisble as spurs on top now (all could yet change) Group E:not possible as Chelsea ae winners o group Group F: real Madrid/RB leipzig Group G: not possible as city top group Group H: PSG/Benfica now you lot better not get all pissy and decide luck is going to make the draw much easier on us all of a sudden Bayern, PSG or Real madrid anyone? that'll soften your optimism.

It usually is. We're frequently much better in the second half than the first half. I don't know if it's just better stamina, or it takes half-time hugs from Klopp before the players can perform.
