Haven't seen it ... but VAR is not the problem... VAR provides the officials with a close to perfect opportunity to get a key decision right ... certainly more accurate than the human eye in 'real time' ... if they then still get it wrong, then the blame is solely attributable to the officials, not the technology.
This. I was a staunch advocate for VAR. It is utilised almost to perfection in Rugby, Tennis, Cricket etc. The problem, as Fosse said, is human incompetence, they are reviewing the video evidence and STILL ****ing it up. In its current form, i'd do away with VAR, does nothing but ruin the flow of the game. Unless they are going to implement it properly, bin it.
Love the way they use it in Rugby ... "... on field decision is ... but can you check for ... " Everybody knows what is going on and there is rarely any controversy over the concluding decision because they explain / show the reasoning if the 'on field' decision changes ...
That’s because you haven’t been in Europes top tier comp for almost a decade you can’t remember what it feels like anymore
... but ... but ... playing in the semi's of the 4 team invitational Emirates Cup counts ... don't it?
Pre season shenanigns is all that is Flossy. You won't see me celebrating that as a trophy Unlike you adding the Community Shield to your list of honours.
