Interesting article - probably through rose tinted glasses but sounds like he's lost his way a bit in the last few years tbh. https://www.geordiebootboys.com/new...acked-with-jude-bellingham-and-jamal-musiala/ Hopefully being released by West Ham and rejection by Chelsea is the kick up the arse he needs to get his career back on track. He's got a good opportunity here with us and if he gets his head down and works hard he should turn out a decent acquisition. Looks like a big focus on the U21's this season with Smith, McArthur, Murphy, Hackett, Kuol and now Diallo. All of them have good potential and it'll be interesting to see how many make the grade here.
I was going to say this is crap, as it’s be mental to tie ourselves into something for that long. If values goes up what do we then do? Then I thought about it…… So we announce a massive long term deal, with some buddies - almost certainly the new PIF airline. Then in a few years, we decide to “buy the contract out”, to replace it as the megacity Neom wants to advertise. So we do and Neom is our new £500m sponsor. The PL as far as I can tell cannot check or have any jurisdiction on HOW we buy out that original contract. Happy ****ing days.
I for one need to absolutely suck this one up. Chaos was bang on about it, I was dead wrong. Shows the issue with Ashley was that doing everything on the cheap can’t work, because if you don’t have an ambitious mood and a fantastic coaching team you can’t get players cheap and make it work. Apart from a handful of relatively cheap ****ups - Wood and Lewis most notably - the scouting record at Newcastle, even pre-Howe, has to be one of the best in the league; Almiron, Joelinton, Botman, Bruno, Burn, Trippier. Maybe they can spot a player after all.
Where did you see this DPP, legit source? And how do you feel about that now? Giving away naming rights, but for £300m?
Lets hope they don't fail in the next influx because they have to get another 4 windows right and then we will be some side
I wonder what Ashley is thinking now. Granted there’s not a ****ing chance in hell he could have turned the club around the way our new owners have and I’m not even talking about playing staff here yet either. Chuck in £200m of new players doesn’t just work as we’ve seen from previous managers under Ashley, not that many of them have had close to that but it just makes me wonder what, after such a short period of time the current value of our club would be now. £300m a year ago for a bottom 3 side winless in 14 games vs a top 4 team now with the best defence in th league and unbeaten save for a 98th min winner from the bin dippers. This new CEO fella knows his onions I reckon. Imagine having a job where the JD simply reads… “Make us fooooking massive…..like PSG on steroids” The River Tyne is gonna burst it’s banks from all the salty tears when Klopp and Co rock into town for their away fixtures with us later in the season….good job we know where we can get a **** tonne of sand from for next to nowt for the sandbags!
Football insider so likely bollox. Still feel it’s ****ty. We either move stadium and give whatever name they want or we stay where we are and no name changes. No amount of money will ever change that. Name the training ground, sponsors of everything including toothpaste but St. James’ Park stays like that. I hate the hypocrisy of our fans as well. Just because they will reinvest it means jack to me.
Don’t interrupt him!! He’s currently negotiating being called “Shelvey is a s**t” for the next 10 years for a price of £150m.
The best bit is he hasn't yet figured that means we'll be keeping Shelvey at NUFC for another 10 years.
