As a child I always found it hugely amusing that 'The Death' was an anagram of 'Ted Heath' (easy pleased),
but this one, Mr Hi Risk . . .
    I'd have burst laughing!

ITV program ad break 9 40 pm. At end of ads , “ coming up on news at ten”. Shows her leaving no 10 then someone ranting about the appointment. Cut to part 3 of program and across the screen it’s name — “ Unbelievable moments caught on camera “

Simon Clarke’s ( Middlesbrough) minister job taken from him and given to Gove (Surrey) . You can see where “ levelling up is going “

If there's going to be zero tolerance and a focus on professionalism going forwards you have to wonder why people with so many high profile unprofessional ****ups have been brought back in. It's a bit like the new manager 'clean slate' and then the same faces behave the same way.

Still, we'll see how they go. Not much choice.

Suella Braverman, a woman of such high standards she resigned on a point of principle. Not only that she was brave enough to attack the lack of integrity from Truss, etc ...

... then grabs the job she left a week ago, grins and congratulates the new PM. Someone with such integrity that he's under investigation along with another disgraced ex-PM.

I'd previously tipped Braverman as future PM but this hypocrisy would usually have ruled that out. Sadly lies, failure and incompetence don't seem to preclude anyone from high office. Gavin Williamson is a typical example of this new 'normal', a man so inept he doesn't have a clue how useless he appears.

This has gone beyond party preferences, its shameful and they know but don't care.

Just another catchphrase left over from the previous comedian ...

... the current one had his own 'Eat Out to Help Out' but needs a new one now.

He was extremely proud of that one despite his own PM saying it helped spread coronavirus <doh>

World class ineptitude, no wonder people are laughing at us.

Gove has plenty to be criticized for, but it rarely revolves around his competence in the job. He's generally seen as an effective operator, so we'll see how that goes.
It's all the Machiavellian **** and his awkward smart-arsery that people don't like.

He could also be “ effective “ though in following instructions to keep spending any money anywhere but the NE

Sunak and Hunt are proposing nationwide cuts in spending.

Does anyone really believe the South would tolerate millions more being spent on impoverished parts of the NE. They see it as money down the drain and always have. There may be a few token photo-op projects but the NE will be fundamentally deprived as usual.

Gove isn't about to become a hero to anyone north of Watford.

There’s one thing that reduces our disappointment to a certain extent.
If eg there was a 50% cut in spending , some places see a difference when they lose half of a million pounds. In places like Annfield Plain , and Leadgate as you’re familiar with, we see no difference when we lose half of virtually nothing .

I see Bonko has resumed his holiday in the Carribbean after failing to convince Sunak to step aside for his return as glorious leader. He resigned in July and this is his THIRD holiday since then. God knows how he finds time to do anything for his constituents.
