I'm with Direct Line they just took the details over phone and then sent me a confirmation letter to sign whilst going ahead with the claim . The rental car took a couple of days but that was because of needing to arrange the fitting of some temp hand controls to the auto rental car .
Quote me happy - mainly online I've had about twenty emails and fifteen texts so far, plus documents on the portal. My cars been collected this morning, getting the courtesy car at 2pm today. Back at work tomorrow
Going back to the OP. Yeah, sometimes i get properly moody when we lose, even if I didn't even watch the game, just followed on live text or saw the final score. Just puts a downer on the rest of the day. I would say however, The Forest loss was just a ffs. I pretty much expected us to have another fall after two wins on the trot. I do find our form perplexing right now.
I got pissed off with the Forest game. Generally able to deal with it when it doesn't go our way but can't tolerate lack of effort, poor attitude, etc
Make sure they don't have you signing for a claim management firm to handle claim, complete rip off merchants.Tried it with my mate and he would have been responsible for cost of recovery and storage costs and if the claim went 50 / 50 the cost of hire vehicle is astronomical and he'd have been libel for that as well.
when i made the claim the guy at Direct Line kept asking about whiplash and i kept telling them nope and considering the incident they should have dismissed any such claim as nonsense but he still reminded me at the end of the call i could still make a claim at any time . Then had the joy of endless calls from claim handler companies and after anout 4 i literrally just told them to **** off and stop bothering me . bunch of ****ing shysters .
I've had calls by people telling me I've had an accident. I told them it must have been a bad one because I can't remember anything about it.
i had none till i actually had an accident and it had to have been one or both of the 2 insurance companies that passed the info on or these shysters have access to a general insurance database .
