Like a bit of aggression and passion but not crass stupidity. Seems a long time since Sang nearly scored. Ref missed a blatant handball. It’s going to be a long long second half.
Could easily be 2 or 3 down. Everything coming down Nkounkou's side. He doesn't know whether to stick or twist. Better off throwing his hand in. Get him off, O'Dowda to left back and Whyte in front maybe?
I’ve seen plenty of teams down to 10 men who make it difficult for the 11 men but this has been pathetic.
Disagree Nin. Swansea are the worst side where you want to lose a player due to their keep ball game. A long ball team are much easier to defend against. City forever chasing the game once Robinson went off. More than anyone he lost us the game by his stupid reaction. I said weeks ago this would be a difficult season and I hate to appear right in this instance. Hudson has to do something to lift them before Rotherham next Saturday. They will be a physical, energetic, pressing side. We have to match them and more to get the 3 points.
Actually, it is all down to Hudson deciding we were better playing the long ball rather than out out from the back and can`t tell the good players from the bad.
I'd better get in the line up of shame too I managed to watch the first half and in all honesty, before Robbo's daft actions I thought we looked the better team in the opening exchanges. Even for around 10 minutes after the card we were still making a decent go of it. Unfortunately we then started to get pulled around and that eventually told. I just don't understand what went through Robbo's head. Yes the Jack dived to win the foul, so some frustration there but when Cabango barged him in the back he should have followed suit and thrown himself to the ground too. Odds are Cabango then gets a yellow and is treading a fine line from thereon. We just need to put this right in April now.
Don’t agree. With 10 men your midfielders and particularly defenders still should defend properly. Obviously with no outlet the balls going to come back again and again but so keep 2 up top to give the team half a chance. Hudson hope it would be 0-0 with a rearguard display but when it went 1-0 he had to change it but didn’t. He hadn’t learnt from the experience with 10 men at QPR.
Heard it alright in Northwich for the first 20 odd mins, then it dropped out. Just got a repeated message saying due to broadcasting rights the online radio wasnt available.
Watched the whole game on Sky, though had to record it for later because of Sunday Lunch "orders". Kept away from this board until I had, but have to say that even allowing for the two "10 man" games against QPR and Swansea, we're way off the pace and skill levels against these passing sides. It needs to be sorted right now not continue this interim manager experiment, or we'll be battling withing the bottom 3, not just outside it. Coventry will comfortably overtake us, and it's only a matter of time before both managerless clubs Middlesbrough and West Brom get their man to sort them out. We need someone to get a grip on this before the WC break to give them the time to turn this struggling ship around.
