    A) doesnt make any difference hes left footed, Jonas is right footed but does pretty well on the left. B) By all definitions he is a talior made winger. He has played their 90% of his career for a reason. The fact given the choice he would like the No.10 role, doesn't suddenly disgard the fact he may be wrong. C) What a winger does in attack is the priority. Does Nani, Lennon, Walcott, Young, etc etc break thier necks getting back?! Did Superman Obertan give Simpson unexposed cover every week?!!

By you definition of a winger it looks like the nod should go to Dan Gosling. Just because he is right footed and defensive minded.

Whats your Football Manager team look like?!! You are more negative then Sam Allardyce!!

This is a tough one as whoever comes in needs to get upto speed quickly as they are going to be playing throughout the month against some of the best wingers/full backs inthe leauge and the player i can see doing that quickest is Santon.

Only a minor injury at the beginning of the season stopped him stealing Raylors position and being our full time LB.
He has had more game time than Marv and HBA this season (including Italy U21's).
A more defensive minded player than the other 2 and we are going to need to be sharp at the back over the next few games.
He's never seen a mackem in Milan

Funniest thing is if Ben Arfa did play on the right, Simpson would be the one people turned on when they exposed us on the right. Just love a scapegoat.

    A) Jonas doesnt cut inside all the time, whereas Ben Arfa would, leaving a huge gap on the right for players to run at Simpson.

    B) As I've said, neither the manager or player want him on the wing, so what does it even matter? He wont play there.

    C) The ideal winger for us is someone like Jonas, who helps his full back. The difference is Nani, Lennon and Walcott have players like Jones, Walker and Sagna behind them, different class to Simpson.

Just thought id make quite clear yes, I agree exposing Simpson isnt ideal seeing as he is horsesh*t at the best of times. But you r making far too much out of this exposing lark. A full back should do his job full stop. Not balme any lack of cover. If Simpson is left 2 on one at countless times, non of us would be blaming him. We arent ******s....well some of us anyway.

Yea HBA wont be picked their. I just wish he was. Marv for Satday. Hope he does a good job.

Unfortunately, this wouldn't surprise me. Pardew did this against Fulham with Obertan playing off Best upfront. Also, there has been talk of Lovenkrands being unhappy this week, so Pardew may want to show him he still has a part to play.

I love Lovenkrands and he used to be a decent striker. However, he isn't anymore, and he's never been a decent right winger!

Ben Arfa is an unbelievably gifted player but his major problem is that he's still not fully fit and we can't be expecting miracles from the lad at the moment. No doubting that he is going to be a massive player for us, but he also needs to wait his turn like everyone else. Ba and Best are playing terrifically well together at the moment and there is no reason to split them right now. Ben Arfa will definitely be fully fit and firing on all cylinders barring any setbacks by the time the African Nations comes around and I feel as though Pardew is thinking this is when he's really going to step up.

Ben Arfa will get his chance but for now people should be happy that Newcastle is now UNITED with a team who stand together through stormy waters and make sure everyone comes out the other side safe. There may be some players with more limited abilities but they've given 100% for the cause and for that I can't fault them, Simpson doesn't deserve dropping, he had a blinder against Stoke. Just calm down people everyone will get their chance as we have seen with Marveaux now with Obertan's injury.

Nothing needs to change for me. Play Marveaux or Benni right given they have the most experience of playing there. As for exposing Simpson etc, I think you can overthink it sometimes. Just stick to the formula working, one winger out, one winger in. Let them worry about us, we're at home and we're flying.
