Perhaps those looking for reparations should direct their demands on those black African countries that were complicit in the rounding up of their subjects to be sold off as slaves, at an immense profit, to those darned privileged honkies They also never inform people that slavery has been going on for centuries by all different ethnicities perpetrated against all different ethnicities. Slavery is abhorrent but they could try teaching people that it has happened everywhere around this world and has been instigated by all ethnicities. They also might try informing people that, not only does the UK have a disgraceful history of imposing slavery and its trade BUT it was the UK that abolished the slave trade long before the enlightened US (New York Times take note) did after a civil war. Not to mention countries around the world today where the slave trade is still in operation.
