Got to agree with you all about Takowski, just finished watching motd, he looked immense in an improving Everton side.
Just eight points now separate Liverpool in 7th to Leicester in 20th, getting very tight we must start picking up points starting tomorrow.
He's solid but went on a free transfer and was reported to be offered in and around 200k a week by Everton. Some reports put it at 250k. We can't be paying a centre half £1million a month. We just don't have the budget.
If we can pick up 6 or 7 pts before the break we will be in a decent position. Its really tight. Need to minimise individual errors. Hopefully the opposition will stop scoring with every ****ing shot. Eventually one of our shots will go in.
Wonder how the fans are going to react today when Marsch walks onto the pitch. He seems to have reacted badly to the Bielsa chants and according to the Sundays has said he took over from Bielsa due to a worst position…. A bit of petulance? For me I think the fans will be fine and get right behind the team, but will quickly turn toxic if the garbage appears again
Hopefully they back the man and the team. If they don't then the crowd themselves have to shoulder responsibility for today's game.
I have a feeling we may see a bit of a surprise team selection today. Is Struijk fit again, will Firpo keep his place, will Drameh get the LB slot? Will Bamford start or will Rodrigo get the nod or will Sinisterra start up top. Will Cooper be back in place of Llorente or will we see the likes of Joseoh or Perkins in the mix. Will Marsch go for his strong and stable team
Bamford only effective if he plays half a game. If Struijk is fit then probably go same starting 11 as against Arsenal and then Bambi on for the 2nd half.
I think he tried to rest players on Thursday to keep things fresh. It's understandable. Harrison looked knackered against Arsenal, Cooper has struggled with 2 games a week let alone 3. I think we'll see... -------------------Meslier -----------Koch--------Cooper Kristensen-‐--------------------Firpo ---------------Roca------Adams Aaronson-------Harrison-----Sinisterra ---------------------Bamford
Not sure which of our players will be going to the WC but here's a guess; Kristensen Llorente Adams Aaronson If we were to replace Jesse Marsche how would that effect a new coach being able to prepare for the PL resumption on 26th Dec ? (sacking Marsche now might help alleviate that problem a little). Also do we have any January recall clauses on our players out on loan in case any new manager wants them back ?
Don't need to specifically have a loan recall, although it of course helps. If both clubs and the player agree, then any player can be recalled. Presumably this would involve partial repayment of any loan fee etc. If the player is playing regularly for his loan club, then it may be more difficult to persuade either player or the other club to release the player back to us, but that also means they will have been unlikely to breach any conditions of the loan agreement as well, so probably wouldn't be able to activate any specific recall clause.
No idea LoL. Jammy seems to think there's a possibility obviously given that he asked the question, I just stated what the rules were
Wales might have a brilliant World Cup with Dan James and Tyler becoming hot properties... Or maybe another manager just fancies them... Or maybe they're just crap and will never play for Leeds again... Until we're in the Championship that is and everyine else has left.
