The City has influence and some mainly ceremonial roles in the House, but the representatives of the City are limited in where they are allowed in the commons, and only MP's set policy and legislation, and the City is subject to the English aspects of UK Law.

The Earth's climate has always changed.

 

And will continue to do so as long as the Earth still exists

They all seem to be missing something here, if we are causing/contributing greatly to "global warming/climate change" then as usual things will sort themselves out (Gaia). As the Earth warms up we will need far less energy for heating so consumption will fall leading to a fall in "climate change/Global warming"

 

I wouldn't argue with those two even if I disagreed with the statements

It'd be more worrying if it wasn't warming, given we're still coming out of one of the coldest periods in history.
