Tell you what though. I don’t know how he can possibly arrive at giving a yellow card for that one. Contact or no contact he doesn’t dive, he spins and goes over. If it’s a dive it’d be an Olympic gold medal winning dive.

 

looking forward to a good game instead of the borefest served up by the previous two visiting teams, im sure Derby will come to play attacking football and we always do so we should find out where we stand in the division hierachy.

 

Bit before my time. I hated Andy D’Urso when he dropped down to do 1 of our games. He always thought it was about him

 

The skill & art of a top ref is to be as inconspicuous as poss, let the game flow. As you say, its not about you and yr ego.

 

I do wonder how players will react to the new blackout kit tonight. Nice tho it looks, passing to strange unfamiliar colours might influence things.

Is it wise to experiment in such an important game? Or am I reading too much into it? On TV too, omens not good!

 

Really hope there's a strong reaction from the players tonight, after the last two games, but I have no confidence whatsoever tonight. Think we could even get tonked. Going for a 0-3 defeat, with Morsy getting sent off

There's reasoning behind by negativity.....i've predicted a draw or a defeat for us in pretty much every game so far (although don't think i gave a prediction for either the Plymouth or Lincoln game).....make of that what you will

 

In saying that, i genuinely do think we'll lose tonight.....hope i'm wrong (or right??)

 

I hope you are wrong Stretchy, it will be one of those season defining games, and if conditions allow, an exciting one to watch.

Such a brilliant start from Town. But Derby are a threat. Need to capitalise when we are on top in games. As usual, creating enough to score five goals.

 

Lots of encouraging movement, but final pass not good enough and no real big threat up top.

Derby are one of the best we have played.

 

What a solid player Davis is. Huge improvement on last years’ options down the left side.

Don't rate harness at all tbh, way too inconsistent.

True enough at the moment but I’d much rather have him in the squad than not. Always got a moment to win a game in him.
