It has been a puzzle to me for 64 years I could not understand when I rode my bike to work from around Hessle Square to the end of Whitefriargate why I was bugared when I had only rode 5 miles now I know. All this time I was thinking it was 5 miles when it was really 7. Mystery solved.
With the very tight turnaround and having a large squad, we've got to make changes. Would like to see Fleming in too, andI think Coyle will be back as Christie hurt his shoulder towards the end on Wednesday. I'd also probably go Tufan for Seri to freshen it up as it would be 3 starts in a week for Seri and Sinik for Pelkas too. Keep it fresh and keep the energy levels high
If he does that then he keeps everyone he can involved, so yes good management and the players know what's expected of them. Another point would be good, but I'd love to see a clean sheet
For me, he’s just not good enough and my heart sinks a little when he’s in the starting lineup. Yes he played alright in the Blackpool game, but he lacks pace and strength. I feel you should have at least one of those to lead the line. Unless you’re a natural finisher, which he isn’t. However, he does show flashes of quality and technical ability. He also seems likeable and I would honestly love to be proven wrong. To be fair, Docherty is starting to win me over, so it could happen!
Concerned how we handle their direct approach because we are not the best when the ball goes into our box, regarding Longman I thought he looked great when on loan then poor in many games once he had signed, however midweek he held the ball up well and laid it off good, in fact it’s probably the best I’ve seen him for a long time however he still got abuse from a few when going off. No need for it and it won’t do him any good. Anyway if we come away with a point tomorrow I would be very, very happy.
Beginning to feel the same about Docherty and to be fair to Baz Cooper he has been singing his praises for the Doc right from pre season
