Who is going to sanction them? Are you going to stop using their products? Always amuses me seeing the anti capitalist eco zealots clutching the latest iPhone.

What we do on this little island makes no difference. Unless you think pollution and emissions stay where they originate and won’t reach here.
If other nations carry on regardless what we do is irrelevant. Except for our lives being more miserable for no reason. You never planning to go on holiday or travel further than of can walk? Going to stop buying phones and other technological stuff that contributes to the problem?

You're wrong. Everything makes a difference. If you turn off your telly at the wall instead of leaving it on standby, you've contributed less to the climate issue than you would have done had you not done that. That's a difference, even it seems small.

We don't have to make our lives "miserable"; we don't need to stop buying phones or using planes, we need to develop technology that reduces carbon emission and use fossil fuel-based systems less. Not "shut everything down and live like cavemen".

Yes, turning off the TV at the wall will negate all those new airports and coal mines, won’t it?

So you are not going to do anything but expect others to?

That's a product made by Johnson and Johnson in the Anusol and Rectisol range.

It has moved on from there. Private jets contribute little of the world’s pollution. Just done the Euromillions. Might get one myself if my numbers come up.

Most do. The percentage of rich people with a private plane is small.
