A bit like the day after a heavy night out, I'm starting to get flashbacks of certain incidents that anger me.

Kristensen putting in a world class cross early on and Bamford and Sinisterra stood at the edge of the box admiring it's quality as it sailed out of play. Just ****ing gamble and get in the box you ****wits.

Summerville running through on goal and instead of Bamford taking the defender away he ran himself and a defender straight in to Summervilles path to goal causing him to miss a golden chance.

Klich trying to lob the keeper from the edge of the area. Just strike it hard and low. It might go in, it might get deflected and go in or for a corner, the keeper might have to get his gloves dirty and maybe we can get any rebounds.

Getting all the big lads up for a corner then taking it short and ending up back at Meslier 20 seconds later.

    I might continue later.....

    **** it, another one....

****ing Rodrigo not learning from his Arsenal ****wittery and passing the ball straight to their striker in our defensive third then blaming someone else and.....

    Firpo (just in general)

Rogers said afterwards their plan was not to pass to the full backs, as that triggers our press, and to get tieleman's to drop back as an extra outlet. It kind of worked, but we didn;t help ourselves

I said before the game, that with the intensity of our play and the effort put in against arsenal plus leicester having an extra day i thought we might be leggy. It sure looked it from some individual performances. Marsch confirmed afterwards that the cooper decision was he didn't want to push coops through 3 games in a week.

We can say don't play llorrente, firpo... but who else do we have?

With our strength in the middle we should be cutting out the passing lanes in the middle and forcing them out wide. Bamford was pressing alone alot of the time and centrally. Aaronson was also guilty of this but at least he was doing it in the right areas.

Thought it was sensible to freshen things up as the squad was thought to be much stronger this season. I thought Summerville did OK (not fantastic) from the lads brought in but Llorente and Firpo were poor.

The lack of energy and/or belief was alarming given we have a short turnaround.

After last night here is my thoughts. Rads will not sell this season and if we go down he will not sell. Orta is a hit and miss chancer and he had enough money to find a striker. Trouble is he has rads in his pocket.
Our strikers are utter shyte and the system we are trying to play does not work with this squad.
Marsch is being out coached every game now. Heard it before guys?.
So get rid of Marsch and find a coach who can tighten us up and grind out some results. The players we have recruited this season are fine. We are stuck with some right dross though.
I thought Drameh could play left full back?. Why is he at the club if not used.
We need a ruthless coach with no favourites and a striker in January or we will be at the bottom.

But Leicester did play it wide and made passing by our midfield look easy. They often had four up front.

.....because we didn't press as a team and they played through us. We were pressing in ones and twos instead of 4's and 5's. If we don't get the press right then we look like **** (see last night).

Problem with that, is when we do press in higher numbers we are countered with a simple switch of wing by one of the opposition or by Rodrigo

    Morning all <ok>

I think the boo's last night got to Marsch, he'd only witnessed full vocal support from the masses, regardless of the result, he's spoke of it before, saying he'd never known it before in football. He now knows he has to pull something out of the hat on Sunday to stop it being 30,000+,not 3,000+. Some of the players too will not have witnessed it from our fans, time for them to repay the support they've been given the last 18 months

if Marsch was to be sacked or walk, I think our options would be limited to who would come, most top coaches want lots of money to spend, money we obviously don't have.
    Would anyone take Dyche?

Don’t win at Fulham and Marsch has to go. I think he has been let down by the board not buying a CB, LB and ST however his tactics simply don’t work, nor did they work last season at scum for better players. I’m not 100% that Orta is to blame as wasn’t Adams, Kristensen & Aaronson were all Marsch signings? But the fact that Rodrigo, Firpo and Llorente were his signings makes our business look a bit suspect. We’d have been better off paying PL/championship prices for 1 player rather than 3 crocked players.

The worry for me is we’ve built something potentially very good with Bielsa and then just ripped up the style completely. Surely Corberan would’ve even been a better successor to carry on with a similar style of football and carry on building the club however it looks like we might end up going back to square one and starting all over again. I’d say if we don’t win against Fulham we should be giving him a ring.

And clearly the youth aren’t up to it so we need to loan them out and build a stronger squad, learn there craft elsewhere and we also find out if they’re a gem like Brighton with White and Chelsea with Gallagher.

Also Firpo doesn't even seem to play left back/wing back. Is it just me or does he seem to position himself oddly left, def mid almost ?

There's a lot to digest and not just from last night. From Everton until last night we have been poor. I think there have been multiple factors in this...

    1) Marsch has inherited Bielsa's crap squad. Yes, he signed 5 1st team players plus Robles and Gnonto but it's funny that the same handful of players gets singled out game in game out. Rodrigo and Firpo are the main culprits in this. Rodrigo is in his 3rd season with us and has been **** since he signed. Let's face it Bamford is mediocre at best I've been saying this for years. His conversation rate is 1 in 5 but he doesn't get 5 shots a game.

    2) We didn't strengthen the back 4 or upfront. Yes, the midfield was light but we conceded 50-plus goals last season so you would have thought that we'd have brought in another 2 defenders but we're sitting here waiting for Kai Wagner to run down his contract in the MLS.

    3) The squad is too small. The senior squad is 26 men strong. 6 of them don't qualify for the 25-man rule because they're under 21. We should have taken advantage of that. Now we're gonna have to wait for January to sign 1st team players.

    4) We're spending too time much on the academy. Yes I get it's the future but we're doing a Chelsea or City and trying to sign the best talent in Europe. That's great but we need to think about the here and now. Not the end of the season and not 2 years down the line. 2 years down the line won't save us from relegation last season nor will it save us this season. Doc has been raving about Cresswell for years and now he's on loan at Millwall.

Do you know what, i think i would now, the high pressing game which jesse & Bielsa uses that worked in championship, is not working now against better players & smarter managers in the premier league, to do a high press in the PL your going to need high quality players which cost big money, so forget the high press tactics, time for something else, which means yes to a bit of hoofball at times, but on numerouse occasions i wish we did this than dick around with the ball, that's cost us goals and points, because to me never mind entertaining football which we supply sometimes, i now want goals and more importantly points.

Personally I'd have shuddered at the thought of watching his kind of football but I want us to stay in the PL and think we'd have more chance under his style than Marsch's. There must be someone out there that's affordable and can do a job but who?

There's quite a list out there but which one and would they come.
