    Missed a massive opportunity in the poll to use the phrase "it's Miller time".

    It’s been mentioned before but I would definitely go Oscar for Longman as the only change. I think he will offer more of a threat and it would be harsh to drop any of the others after Blackpool.

    We also need that kind of effort in every away game and we could perhaps play one or two of the more ‘luxury’ players in the home matches.

    I think fair play to those who said early on that we needed the workers in there. I will admit, I thought that these signings of a higher technical ability would be sufficient for a top half finish. I forgot how important it was to stop other teams playing - despite remembering well how valuable Ashbee, Campbell etc were!

    Same thing. Rotherham is closer to Sheffield than Hessle is to Hull.

    Google maps says 7.1 miles Rotherham to Sheffield, 7.4 miles Hull to Hessle.

    They're both 6.3 miles if you walk.

    I'd have been way out if I'd guessed that.

    There is an official marker they measure it from. Some people judge distances from the outskirts but it could be measured from the middle or the other side of the city or town.

    I think it's Charring Cross for London. The location for the 'centre' of Hull can be an interesting one for those of us pedantically inclined. :emoticon-0147-emo:

    That isn’t where it is measured from or to though so that is irrelevant.

    Google maps allows you to draw a straight line between official local centres (whatever that means) i.e. "As the crow flies".

    Using their (Google Earth's map app) tool my measurements show :
    Rotherham --> Sheffield = 9.14 km.
    Hessle -------> Hull = 6.18 km.
    Must be 2 tectonic plates moving away from each other between R & S !:emoticon-0100-smile
