Either they have a manager lined up for next season due to contracts or they don't stick to this. I realise this isn't much of a prediction other than - i don't see them sticking to this
Regardless they've made a mess of their managerial search. The ex-Sevilla manager turned them down as he didn't want to move to England. Ok, fair enough, not their fault. Then they were in talks with Nuno, their ex-manager. Nothing came of that. Then all of a sudden they pivoted towards the QPR manager. Really random and bizarre. And they were even embarrassed when he rejected Wolves! It doesn't send out a great message.
He has got that way from playing every single game for at least three seasons. An opportunity he would never have got with us. Easy to wish we had kept him and Targett but at the time he wasn’t going to get the games
Never really had much opportunity to do so. Got a total of 460 minutes with the club at age 19/20, where he put up extremely good tackle and interception figures, and then effectively never played again.
This is fair. If we had kept him, he would never have improved as he wasn't good enough to dislodge those names and he needed regular football.
The player he lost most of that depth CM playing time to in 2014/15 and 2015/16 wasn't Schneiderlin, Wanyama, Romeu, or JWP. It was Jordi Clasie. Then it was Mario Lemina.
Villa down to 10 and losing. Ings anonymous & Bednarek off at HT on his debut, having been blamed for the goal. Happy days
Leeds have bought some good attacking players in Aaronson and Sinistera - surely they would have been attainable in the summer to Southampton too?
