"It's rather fortuitous that you're on the panel today, Rachel" - Fiona Bruce to Rachel Johnson. No, it isn't. She was brought on as a late change and they removed Cornelia Parker. Johnson goes on to confirm this by saying that she was booked this morning. Bruce needs to go nearly as badly as the Tories that she supports.
Boris Johnson coming back as PM will kill any idea that we are not a joke of a democracy. Spitting image and drop the dead donkey would have been killed as programmes if this lunacy was going on back in the 80s.
Fiona Bruce doing her best to stop Jess Phillips speaking - and picking a fight with a member of the audience who criticised the Tories ..
That bloke at the end was great, though. We shouldn't vote Labour in, in case they do the same thing that the Tories just did. ****ing genius.
"We're off to Downing St, where there's been a resignation. But from who, Chris Kamara?" "I don't know, Jeff. Has there? A resignation?"
Charles Walker has been in the news a bit in the past few days. He's my MP though I didn't vote for him, but that's democracy. In fact I've been in correspondence with him over a certain matter an he's been very helpful. A good constituency MP you might say. And clearly has more of a moral compass than most in his party. He has never wanted to be a minister it appears and is leaving parliament at the next election, but perhaps as they say, those that have never sought office...
The way things are looking over there... Sunak and Johnson will both hit the magic 100 MP support level, and will either 'come to an arrangement' to work together as PM/CX or failing that the Tory members will get to vote (again). That will almost certainly mean Johnson gets the nod. So either way....you're royally ****ed, lads!
