Would take ten years at the earliest, FFS. Factcheck: Why fracking is not the answer to the UK’s energy crisis - Carbon Brief
Nice tits and lovely figure gone. Who's next? Doesn't really matter a **** as the Tories are finished and have been for a long time
Does that mean Diversity isn't a strength and the Tory scum will rip up the super woke cabinet and replace them with posh white millionaire men again ? Gammon sniffer creaming his knickers as spooks Pakis and women get booted out for incompetence . Bring back Boris Johnson that would be hilarious
Those of us that read the Telegraph have sensed that even the most Tory of media publications has turned on them. Many of their feature writers now openly write about their certain defeat at the next General Election and some even speculate about how Truss was going to be dethroned and one of their lead writers has written about the coronation of Sunak. I have read one commentator describe the government as “a sack of hairless cats fighting over a comb”. Liz Truss did little to help her own cause. She prevaricated about the State pension “triple lock”, which is not really sustainable. Since all other fiscal decisions are now emanating from No 11 Downing Street, she should have deferred to her Chancellor to announce a decision. With the ‘official’ inflation rate for September – the month on which State pension rises are based – being announced as more than 10 per cent, keeping the “triple lock” will see the government having to find £11bn for extra pension funding come April 2023. That should go down well with the markets unless Jeremy Hunt has £11bn of public sector spending savings to announce to counter it. Otherwise there are going to have to be tax rises and/or more borrowing. They should put Sunak in No 10 as he created this mess when he was Chancellor for Boris, so he should be at the helm of the ship that he fatally holed as it sinks. Once the sordid coalition of the Left takes over it will find the country ungovernable because most of the electorate are incredibly stupid believing that disingenuous Labour can be both fiscally disciplined and throw billions at big state public services. I doubt they will try Trussonomics to stimulate growth and none of their plans will create it.
