    I agree Wiz
And with Braveman gone the Remainers are gathering in their masses
The Care For Calais people who line up on the Kent and Sussex beaches handing out freebies to possible undesirables will be rubbing their hands
Labour are now starting to gather a vote to ban any possible fracking attempts
The destruction of the UK is now almost inevitable
Long live chaos and open borders

What a mess again in parliament tonight, a GE is getting closer by the day. Long standing reasonable Tory’s have had enough, saying Tory front benchers are more interested in their own personal interests ahead of the country.

Rees Mogg shouting at Tory MP’s to go into the lobby Mogg wanted him to, the deputy PM manhandling another MP into the lobby of HER choice, and the Chief Whip and her deputy resigning, what a mess. GET TF OUT.

    Oh yes it is.
It's well known all over the world we're a soft touch.
Why else would 30,000 so far this year risk life and limb to cross the channel ?

Your conflating illegal immigration with benefit dodgers, they are two completely different issues.

    And you're missing the point.

Illegal immigration wasn’t as much of an issue then as now, however benefit dodging was, not everyone in the 60’s, or 70’s was as honest as you make out.

'not everyone in the 60’s, or 70’s was as honest as you make out'

I haven't said that - take it back.
I've said it's far more prevalent now.

So what in the above led you to say 'not everyone in the 60s or 70s was as honest as you say'.

Agree to differ, no worry but keep it accurate!

I wonder what today will bring in the land of utter incompetence and chaos ?

Just watched the interview with Charles Walker on the BBC News page.
He's right, the House of Commons is full of talentless people on all sides of the divide who are incapable of running a country properly without it becoming all about them rather than it being about the people that voted for them. The role of a government is to uphold the will of the people, not self to serve and line their own pockets.

What happened to the experience and wisdom that our politicians used to have ? I know that I'm getting older and people like Anne Widdecombe (as an example) have long retired and David Davies is now just a thorn in the governments side, but all we seem to have now is globalists like Hunt, Sunak, Starmer, and co who don't give a flying toss about us.
Nothing is thought through, every decision seems to be made as a knee jerk reaction, and often no action at all is taken.
Best example is the morons from Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion. We all welcome peaceful protests, but these people who impede ordinary people who are wanting to go to work, pick up their kids, attend appointments etc. I have no time for. They are all middle class hoorays with nothing better to do and the Police, in the usual fashion are softly softly instead of manhandling them out of the publics way, and locking them up. Hand out a decent jail term of 6 months - 1 year, and add in a £20k fine for obstruction and we might get somewhere. These idiots pay no regard to the trainers and backpacks they sport are made from oil by-products ! But the law fails you and I again.

What's come to a head now is donkeys years of the people in charge turning a blind eye to the neglect and leftie activity that's crept into all major UK businesses, plus our state departments, including the Home Office, Education, Law & Order, the NHS and Foreign policy.
The bottom line is that Boris is not a Conservative and that's partially why we're in this mess as a true Conservative wouldn't allow things to go in the direction they've been allowed to drift. At best he was a Liberal.

Because of our counties ever more liberal attitude towards literally everything on these shores, we've allowed people to not respect the Police, who in turn with their woke leaders calling the shots, drive around in rainbow painted cars to appease the LGBTAGEIAPXYZ +++++ community.
The family unit is all but defunct and as RP said it's all me me me and I want (and deserve!) it now now now!

Anyone who is proud of being British and patriotic is branded a racist and we're constantly bombarded by people telling us how white privilege shaped the world. Utter nonsense. But worse, is that non one steps in to stop it.
We finally get someone like Suella who found within a couple of weeks that her vision for controlling things are at odds with Truss. Truss the ex Liberal that is !

Why did the Conservative party allow 160k ish paid up members who knock on doors and give people leaflets when it's clear that they didn't agree with the choice made ? It's a total disconnect and is like all the people that railed against the Brexit result and wanted a second referendum held just because they didn't like the first result.

The NHS, sometimes behind parents backs, allowed CHILDREN to take puberty blockers and wear chest bands when counselling would probably have been the answer that was needed.

The Civil Service members ignore their leaders orders not to attend costly and unnecessary diversity training.

But Starmer and Labour will be as bad if not worse in most areas.
I reckon we'll be closer to the EU and be back in the single market in no time. And re immigration, they will be equally useless and uncaring while yet more of our way of life is consigned to history while the C of E sit back and do nothing.

It's certain Starmer will win the next general election.
Lammy and Abbott will lead the next sh*t show and the left will get their long held wish of rejoining the EU.
I look forward with relish Starmer appeasing every union blackmail threat, throwing money at the dysfunctional NHS and open borders time with immigration.

    Can't wait.

It's already open borders with the Tories as they haven't got the balls to get tough with it, or the integrity and humility to actually listen to what the British people want.

Corbyn was the best election campaigner for the Tories the last time around.
Boris, Truss and the Chimps Tea Party that it the Tory party is doing its best for Starmer & co.

The Tories had it in the palm of their hands - and they fkd it up. A bit like winning 4-0 at half time and losing the game 5-4.

The Labour party don't even need to campaign........

    Angelic, wait and see.

When Blair signed us up he said between 3k and 13k would come from the Euro Zone annually. It turned out we've had over 300k a year.........and that's the ones we know about.
The only folk who don't want Starmer elected are the traffickers in Calais.
It'll be a free for all.

I think it's 30k a year not 300k but it wouldn't surprise me, and it's way way way too many anyway !
The ones from the Euro Zone mostly worked for their money.
They contributed to the UK economy, they didn't scrounge off the taxpayer, they opened Polish/Romanian shops, they drove lorries, or worked in hospitals etc are long gone and we are left with providing for people who don't belong here, don't associate with the values of the UK, won't pay tax, 60% of them coming here will be involved in illegal activity instead of being deported back to an EU country (Albania).
Yet more and more British families are having to use food banks, and live without heating as winter approaches, while illegals get a centrally heated hotel, regular GP and Dentist visits, spending money (oh the irony!!!!) and 3 square meals a day.
