Perraud has 1 goal and 2 assists already this season, and he missed the first 4 or 5 games. Watch the goal from last night again; excellent first time delivery, no first touch required, no stepovers. Just gets it in there.
I really like Perraud. Great to see him back to full fitness. Although he looked absolutely knackered when he came off
I wouldn't call it total domination. The changes made helped us see the game out comfortably although I was watching through beer tinted glasses. Try this steam https://soccerstreams100.io/ select the match and scroll down to hockey news or whatever works best for you.
He was another one who you can never fault the effort of, absolute work horse. I know it was very much a brief cameo, but I liked the look of Larios again last night. He seemed very confident and composed on the ball considering his age and the situation.
Cheers. I use a similar site called TotalSportek. Usually works absolutely fine, but last night didn't for some reason. Had to use a VPN and eventually got a half-decent (albeit silent) one.
Yeah he looks decent. Can play on both sides too apparently, so we might see him at RB while KWP is out.
Premier League reaction: We'll look at Man Utd's win over Spurs, Liverpool and Newcastle's victories and how that shapes the top four race among other things.BBC Apparently Saints didn’t play last night. Only top four teams are wotthy of comment OSS
Yes he gave the ball away a few times but he was constantly pressing and closing players down. I wouldn't say he gave the ball away a lot. He also made some key tackles and interceptions. Harsh to say he was poor.
It was more of a subtle comparison to Djenepo than Elyounoussi. Djenepo will try to take on two guys before putting the ball in, by which point the CBs are marking the strikers. That's why an early ball is effective, because the defenders are likely out of position, and running towards goal (so even if they do clear it, you'll probably get a corner). On Moi. He's okay, but for an attacking midfielder his shooting is awful, and he is too slow.
KWP looks far less adventurous than he did 6 months ago - he used to be prepared to take the one on one and trust footwork and pace, but much less so know. Presumably because he's less confident in the overlap being defensively sound?
Watching the highlights back reminds I'd like to give a shout out to Diallo. He wasn't on for long, but he was a big reason why we kept possession for so long in those 5 mins of added time. He really did a great job of carrying the ball forwards and then making sure we kept the ball. One of the least stressful periods of added time with a one goal lead that I can remember. We saw the game out really well.
SSN had a brief report after 10pm but unlike the other games, didn't get a manager view from either team. Ah well probably for the best as the questions would have been totally predicable! Ordered some more Crunchie bars as Ralph will be here, rightly, for a bit longer yet!!
