Maybe just maybe they had 8 first teamers out, it’s still a good win and hopefully we can build on it but we’ll find out Saturday

Equally we've been missing players since the start of the season. Don't think we've seen our best starting eleven yet.

3 games ago when we beat Wigan virtually everyone had tufan in their top 3, most at 1 on the mom thread. The short memories on display onn here are phenomenal.

Eh? I agreed he was good in that game. Since then he hasn't been good. Seri has been good and set the standard, Tufan has set his own standard too. Are we not allowed to comment on players' form?

He was ok but people went overboard about him
He’s a very skilful player but he’s just not going to achieve his potential whether it’s his attitude I dunno butwe won’t find the right position for him I don’t think.

We'd have won that 5-0 if Smallwood and Honeyman were still in the team.

Was at the illuminations bout 1961 or 1962 time. Got my mum to take me to a night game against Everton. Loads of Everton there Everton there and visitors like me just there to say they had seen Stanley Matthews. It was packed like on this photo. Over half the crowd of around 30,000 must have been on the Kop End.

I was there in about '69 when me mam won 1st prize in a works draw. 1st prize was 1 week in Blackpool, 2nd prize was 2 two weeks!!! ....
First game of season...City lost 0-2, but then, if memory serves, me right, City went on a blinding ten match undefeated run and were top in October, before doing the usual falling away act and finishing midtable.

That win came about because of the guts, determination and togetherness of the 11 selected to go out and play last-night.How many times have we been able to say that this season? How many times have we said we can't afford to carry any luxury passengers?

Last-nights result proves that if our players muck in and play for the jersey then we can compete on the pitch,I put a lot of the mentality on display against Blackpool down to our caretaker coach.Andy Dawson shows good man management skills and his connection to the Club reflects his desire to see us at least put a huge effort in.

Luxury players aren't an option at this Club,we need grafters who'll put a shift in and last night we had that in abundance, led by an inspired performance by one Greg Docherty who was being written off by some as a fringe player who wouldn't necessarily be involved if we had a fully fit squad.

Dawson stripped it back to the basics last night,it worked and lessons have been learned...UTT!!

Think Seri had a good, stead game tonight distributing the ball well.
I agree.

In recent games the gap between defence and midfield has been too wide causing the defence to play long balls often resulting in a misplaced passes. I thought Seri played the DMF role brilliantly, making himself available and finding the best possible pass. A player like that doesn't always stand out but can make everyone else tick. A bit like Michael Carrick at Manchester red.
