Maybe just maybe they had 8 first teamers out, it’s still a good win and hopefully we can build on it but we’ll find out Saturday
Only 2 points to make up on game 15 in 07/08. Come on Dawson lad. Its still on...! Thought Acun was supposed to be picking the team - from his 20m yacht he allegedly can't afford?
Unbeaten against ****ashire sides so far this season. Which is always nice. Hopefully stay that way when the moaning ****s from Blackburn arrive next week.
Finally an away win and a Black(Amber)pool day! What a difference getting up in the middle of the night to watch a win and a great performance, it completely changes your mood for the rest of the night/day! Credit to Daw's for making changes, which clearly worked, and at least we had a midfield that worked tirelessly with and without the ball. Having said that, that was the situation all over the pitch, everyone worked for each other and will extra verve which we haven't seen of later. Docherty and Woods were the standouts for me, Docherty's energy is just what we needed and to get a rocket of a goal was the icing on the cake for his performance. Woods was everywhere, and he and Seri worked beautifully in midfield. Really pleased for Longman, both for his goal and his work ethic, topped off by the appreciation shown by the City faithful at the game when subbed. Christie had a very good game, Greaves I thought was not at his best in the first half but got better in the 2nd. Slater worked tirelessly and capped off by getting the 3rd goal, which really took the pressure off for the final 15 minutes or so. Let's hope we can build on this, I would take a draw at Rotherham, as they have been good at home this season, so a point there would be not a bad result and keep the momentum going. A draw and another win before the break would leave us in a much healthy position.
Apparently Blackpool always do badly against crap teams like Hull that turn up and park the bus. https://avftt.co.uk/index.php?threa...ty-official-matchinght-thread-19-10-22.36651/
In case anyone had any doubts about the ball being over the line. please log in to view this image https://avftt.co.uk/index.php?threads/it-didn’t-go-over-the-line.36709/
Surprisingly Seri and Woods worked well together. Longman, whilst not as prolific as Oscar was much more effective in that role. Doc was a thorn in their side all night. All good stuff and a pretty stark turn around. Why couldn't we have done this weeks ago? Clusterfuck.
3 games ago when we beat Wigan virtually everyone had tufan in their top 3, most at 1 on the mom thread. The short memories on display onn here are phenomenal.
