What is the excuse this time? "It would have been worse under Jeremy Corbyn", "They are all the same", is it is the fault of the Not606 Sunderland fans forum, or have they got a new one now? Oh dear oh dear...
Absolute joke. At what point can a general election be forced through? Getting close to school yard levels here. Pathetic.
In the seventies we used to laugh at the Italians for endless government changes, total chaos and ministers shouting at each other in Parliament ... ... 'book six flights or more and one goes free, book a dozen flights or more and you can form the next cabinet' we used to say. This is far worse and we're now a laughing stock ffs.
We're surely witnessing the end now. Braverman jumping ship and then criticising the pm. Shapps stepping in and praising the Chancellor but not mentioning the pm at all. The Chief and Deputy Chief whip resigning after being hung out to dry by the government trying to pretend it wasn't a whipped vote at the last minute. It's hard to see how this lasts through the weekend. The few Conservatives left who could steady the government are the same ones who will want to keep their powder dry and not have their careers toppled with it. A resignation and sacking in 2 of the great offices of state within the 1st month of appointment is unheard of, let alone the whip and deputy too.
Not since Germany in 1933 has the new Chancellor been so arrogant, divisive and sly ... ... at least Hitler had the trains running on time, Shapps doesn't even know the timetable https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-62605633.amp : "What hope do we have when the Transport Secretary doesn't know the details of the reduced timetable he signed off?"
