I have watched a BBC television program about the RAF raid on Amiens prison in 1944. It was interesting that so many airplanes could fly so far at no height and bomb a building so accurate.

Made the error of telling Mrs N I have some time off soon so the list got added too

 

My Mum likes telling me that her sewing machine was more expensive than her first car, 30 odd years ago!

 

that I can well believe!, Have taken photos as I ve pulled it apart a lot of the mechanisms are rusty , but saveable , just hope I can get it working and back in one piece! it wasnt working to start with , so am hoping I am not missing any bits!

Why oh why do people send you paperwork saying this kit must get to the consignee ASAP, so you organise a flight for this priority freight and you tell the the sender right you have 4 hours to get this kit to LHR. They turn round and say oh I am not sure whether we can get in there in that time, in that case don't say it is high priority!!!!

 

Morning all - absolutely hammering down on the way down to West West London. I am sure I saw a bloke with a long beard in a big boat with a load of animals on the M25 this morning. No doubt the global warming/climate change/we are all doomed merchants will be on the BBC in the next day or so telling us to share a shower and to stop eating beans....
