I said the same to my boy never seen us Win at the Hawthorn’s. That is as bad a WBA side I have seen. They are not the side off a few years ago.
Great result, the team was to blame for winning, Nige was at fault for the wrong selections and right tactics, good to leap to 11th

Well, just got home, a great result and a good, but not brilliant performance. We defended well, much better than I thought we could, I thought the 3 CBs were very good tonight. Sykes does bomb forward a lot leaving the right sided CB very exposed, but Vyner did very well tonight. As we have played 1 or 2 more games than everyone below us, it’s hard to gauge the league table right now.
I have, on the way to promotion to the old division one (got caught up with a few of their fans as well!!)......I was there with about 8000 city fans that made the trip!!
It is definitely not bad; however, most teams have 1 or 2, or 5 games In Coventry’s case in hand on us, so the table, and our position is probably a bit false right now. I said last season and this, with the players and top class facilities at NPs disposal coupled with his experience, we should be top half of this division. That view hasn’t changed for me, anything less than top half this season is a second year of failure in my eyes.
Chances are very slim but......If all the teams behind us win their games in hand we would be in the sh!t...... Perspective & reality.......you can't take away the fact over the last 8 games we've been pretty dire...The first half v Brum and the game against Millwall was shocking...... I hope after last night, we start getting some decent performances and results...wouldn't take a lot to get sucked in to the relegation battle..
Or conversely be challenging for a playoff spot, we are inconsistent , as is most of the championship at present.
We won't be challenging for a playoff spot with our current form of 2 wins in 8.....that's my point..
