I'm sure he tried another one that just didn't come off. To be able to see the pass at his age is one thing but then try to make it happen is another. I think Mowbray is close to 'freshening' things up imo.

Your last paragraph, I've always felt like that, same again today. Yes he finished it brilliantly but nobody passed it to him it just fell to him, never seems to happen to us. It's one of those things I try not to dwell on because presumably it just feels that way like how you only remember the bad refereeing decisions not the ones in your favour, but yeah I know what you mean haha.

Interesting to see Michut clear that ball when Blackburn broke late. Didn't have him down as one that would do the defensive work.
We were robbed of a draw to=night but we had 5 under par players in that first half, yet still looked the equal of Blackburn on their own patch. Yet they sit top of the League to-night , that should give us confidence that despite it all we are well set for a good season. OaU
They always play forward and want to make things happen in the final third. If it doesn't come off then they try again. In a way, our midfield could be electric in 6 months with Ba, Michut and Dan Neil.
From what I've read about him I think he has got a bit of bite to his game mate. Might not be the biggest but won't shirk a tackle.

Blackburns manager saying it was a fantastic performance by them. His standards are low, suprise surprise the sky reporter didn't ask about the penalty or offside
