We have played well without him. Agree. But we have suffered because we didn't recruit effectively. In reference to your post about academy positions. Yes, we have finally got round to getting them sorted. A lot of work will now need to be done to get up to speed now though, lots of time has wasted due to positions not been filled timely. Different phases of the club have suffered due to this. But I won't go into it as you may combust. But yeah, positions filled now , with good people. So look forward but doesn't change the fact that it wasnt timely and should have been managed with greater efficiency.
Learning curve for the young lads though. We'll get better. Feels like we're moving forward much more and quickly now after years of shìt.
Because it's easy to get the quality staff in by just clicking your fingers. On a positive note we would have won easy tonight with Quinn and Phillips upfront

Agreed, I don't know who it would have been if we'd signed another striker but there's no chance they'd have been as good as Stewart and presumably not as good as Simms seeing as he's who we chose. Regardless of opinions on this particular matter it's annoying and boring seeing the same people saying the same **** after every game, how many times do people need to make the exact same point. Never appreciated it.
That's why people are paid circa 150k a year to make the calls and make the appointments my good friend. Not easy but certainly achievable and that's why the salary reflects this.
