It sounds harsh, but he doesn’t have the fans on-side I don’t think. I’m not convinced he’s getting the best out of the players either, but fans can kill off managers. The injury list is horrific and it’s obviously a bad patch, but it’s weak management now.

I think I have seen enough this season, or rather I have not seen anywhere near enough, of this team this season.

Staying down is my preference as I don't think I could face watching this bunch of mugs in the PL again.

I think there are quite a few players who would be perfectly capable.

Down to 5th place, with away games against the Blades and Burnley looming large.
    Who mentioned mid-table obscurity earlier?

Absolutely fantastic stench of dog **** on your shoes as Smith stinks up the tin pot league.

The worst part is Webber although being blessed with 2 seasons in the Premier league down to Farke, says we barely broke even

I've pretty much had it now. Yes it was a terrible ref but our play was abysmal after Sargent went off. There was no organisation, no clear tactics to break down a packed defence, just a lot of technical players without a clear purpose. Down to 10 men with time running out and we fanny about in our own area until we lose the ball. I've cut Smith a lot of slack but that is it for me after three losses that never should have happened. We'll be midtable or worse by the World Cup break.

The world cup break is an ideal time for a new manager to essentially have his own pre-season with this squad, and spend anything we have in January. Our tactics do not seem any better than "put 11 players on the pitch who cost more than the opposition". Well we can still do that without Smith.
