    Thoughts out to Whitejock having a bad time of it healthwise. He has not made any scotland games or his music gigs etc etc. He is hoping to meet on sunday but only a quick visit.

    I agree mate, I would have preferred to have kept him but once he decided he wanted out then we move on. Once we lost Bielsa a few players who thrived under him were always going to look worse under a new manager and way of playing

    Yep. Had arranged. To meet him a few weeks back in Glasgow and he had a bad bout of health at last minute. Hopefully catch up Sunday

    I’m guessing with 2 vital PL games in quick succession he’s keeping all 1st team squad members in cotton wool lest he needs them

    He won’t then use them of course but never say never <laugh>

    …. I’m guessing we’re not prioritising the papa johns this year.

    seriously whilst he clearly has his favourite stock changes in terms of subs. With a midweek game there is a greater chance of fatigue/knocks, possible suspensions.
