all about v set piece imo

this lot have not conceded too many but are struggling for goals a bit.

also struggling with 2 games a week.

its going to be a big call to leave milner in there now, two big games in a few days is too much..

    Alisson
    Trent Gomez VVd Robertson
Fabinho Thigao (could see henderson here)
    elliott salah Nunez Firmino/carvalho

    as a guess.

Wouldn't dare predict Liverpool result in this game. I want to say win, but we won our last two games so it seems unlikely we'll win, because three in a row doesn't feel realistic.

No, because we've never really done that before have we?

its not quite the same as a coin toss, in that the prior event has no impact on the next event, but its not that far away.

    1. We will have some fatigue but both teams here played sunday

    2. West ham have struggled for goals so attacking us is ideal

    3. their team has been mixed:

    V southampton
    Fabianski
    Johnson Kehrer Creswell
    Coufal Soucek rice Emerson
    Bowen Scramacca Paqueta

    v fulham

    Fabiakis
    Kehrer Dawson Zouma Cresswell
    Soucek Rice
    Boewn Paqueta Fornals
    Scamacca

Its hard to understand what they will do next.

    4. injuries

We know jota is now out. no idea for how long but certainly out here Obviously he's com in and did ok and importantly did a job for us almost sacrificing his own game to help the cause.
Diaz is out so a huge hole at LW
Konae is totally unknown but we presume a couple weeks min?
Matip is out but given the levels he was playing at its no loss to get fixed. no tackle = no good no matter how had he tried
Keita is no loss at all

Cornet is out for them. Dawson may or may not be. Zouma was ut with "the snifles" probably that big streak of piss will be back (no harm at all for us)

I wouldn't like to try predict what they will do but its pretty clear they've been through as many games as us and have lost 5 so far but as they won 3 and drew 2 ae not miles off us in the table due to the amount of crap we have had.

I think its safer predict the mindset of moyes. He's always negative with us and will try park the bus and frustrate then hit on break at RB/RCB channel. I cannot see this old dog learning a new trick for this game and his usual antics are fairly predictable..

    first goal wins imo.

If they park the bus we'll struggle - it's always the way. We need a bit of genius or luck to break down teams who play that way. If a team tries to play football against, that's our best chance.
Rangers - unambitious at Anfield, lost 0-2
Rangers giving it a go at Ibrox, lost 1-7
For all their quality, City can be got at. Because they play on the front foot they can be caught out - the same as us. It's a high-risk strategy, but the percentages usually work in its favour. That's why we always have a chance against them and the game could go either way.
I doubt we'll get the same opportunities against WHam so we'll need a bit of guile.

Games coming thick and fast. Might need him for forest on Saturday lunch time. Didn’t have best game yesterday and Nunez although fluffed his lines looked dangerous and will offer a threat in the air against a West Ham side who will sit back but also be dangerous from their set pieces.

Get the Nunez argument, suspect Salah will go right and Bobby plays instead of Elliott

I remember this fixture last season. West ham were really poor but we struggled to finish them off and almost let them back into it. I think it'll be a similar game.

We have better, younger, more tanned versions.

Nunez is the biggest donkey I've seen since the crocodile.dundee movie came out.

Firmino has paid enough to be recognised as THE teeth expert of the prem.

Old comolli signings can't cut it in comparison to these two
