Interesting to see Trent come on and play RM leaving Milner at RB. Wonder if that's part of Klopp's long term plan with the 442/4222/424 system.

Obviously we'd need to sign a new RB to be able to move him forward though

So we played a team with Haaland in it for the fourth time and won for the fourth time.

its like a recession, you need 2 games in a row to officially call it a winning streak jus tlike you need 2 quarters of negative growth to call a recession..

'Premier League officials have confirmed that Phil Foden's goal for Manchester City in their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield was disallowed due to two problems in the build up to it.'

    In quite a few papers.

makes no sense that statement .
The statement should be that the foul on Allisson was also referred back to ref but as he had by reversing his decision on the first foul there was no need for him to review it .

They did say on MotD that they'd been told the goal would have been disallowed for the second offence anyway, but they didn't expound on that.

well if the var official had decided to just overrule on the Allisson incident why did they bother making Taylor review the first . This is just to stop Pep bleating about the overrule by implying it was always going to be disallowed anyway .

Edit : obviously i know the second was deffo a foul as i actually know the rules unlike half of PGMOL apparently .

    Totally.

Thats the most accruate way to describe it.

same as cricket, no need for ball tracking (guess at where it might hit stumps) if the ball pitches outside the line.

Its very clear fabinho won the ball and was pulled over by the world's strongest footballer (media loves talking him up) what happened thereafter was moot.

If the ref had decided that pull wasn't enough then he would have seen the second dangerous kick at keepers hands and had to call that as well but this wasn't needed
