I'm a postman as well and the letters side of the business has been making a loss for years it's the parcels that brings in the money and very few Postman's sacks are empty no matter what the Royal Mail bosses will have you believe. Royal Mail have a obligation to deliver to all of the 31 million homes in the UK 6 days a week but Royal Mail management wants to cut that down to 5 days initially and eventually 3 days, they don't give a **** about their workforce,the general public or the quality of service, all they care about is making a profit now, keeping their shareholders happy and most importantly securing their own personal obscene bonuses.
