Well neither is Bowen, Scamacca, Paqueta…

We’d be complaining about whoever scored basically.

Exactly, and if there's one thing Rice isn't known for, it's actually scoring. That was his first goal since Wenger was in nappies, or something.

Quick turnaround to Bournemouth on Wednesday! They've amazingly not lost since their 9-0 thrashing, and although they have had some very favourable fixtures, that doesn't seem to help us! They've scored 10 and conceeded 22 (considering 9 were in one game thats not too bad across the rest) and we've scored 9 and conceeded 18 so relatively evenly matched on both fronts though they have 5 more points than us. This is a much bigger game for us than it is for them. There fans would love 'to be the ones to get our manager sacked'. Can't say I'm particuarly confident of anything better than a draw.

They've had a very favourable run of fixtures since that 9-0 TBF:

    Wolves (H)
Newcastle (A) - TBF a draw there is an excellent result
    Forest (A)
    Brentford (H)
    Leicester (H)
    Fulham (A)

So that's the other 2 promoted sides, 2 teams struggling, both played at home, a Brentford side who are very inconsistent and Newcastle. Credit where credit is due, they got an excellent result at Newcastle but that is a good run of fixtures by anyone's standards.

Indeed, and I did say they had some very favourable fixtures! That said I have no confidence that we would have got the results they have in those fixtures, especially following a 9-0!

You say that but if you look at the sides we've both played:

Leicester: both 2-1 wins (them at home, us away)
Wolves: they drew 0-0 at home, we lost 1-0 away

Very similar matches so I think we could get a similar haul from those games.

Just listened to TSP (Total Saints Podcast) for the WHU game. Said before but they just talk total sense on there. A variety of speakers but really all saying similar. Ok 45mins but highly recommended listening.
